15.12.20227th Swiss Parabolic Flight Campaign: Call for Experiments

The first test campaign with the NLR / TU Delft Cessna Citation II in October 2022 was very successful, as you can read in the corresponding UZH News article

We are planning a new flight campaign in September or October 2023. The exact dates still have to be coordinated. 

With this aircraft and our flight partners, from NLR and TU Delft, we are able to offer a maximal flexible and cost-effective research platform in Dübendorf. And not only the flight profile, the sequence of maneuvers and the reduced gravity setting (from microgravity to Moon or Mars gravity) are flexible and determined by the customer (the science team), also the crew of NLR and TU Delft has a fantastic spirit, and it is a pleasure to work together with them. 

Oliver and his team, as well as the Swiss SkyLab Foundation take care of all campaign planning, management and operations as usual. The users pay only the pure material costs like fuel, net flight cost, ground equipment etc., but not for the overall planning and operations. The total price is 9800 CHF / flight hour for the entire aircraft in mission operation mode from Dübendorf. The technical information can be found here (PDF, 1 MB)
