Duebendorf Airport

Duebendorf Airport (LSMD): A hot-spot for collaborative aerospace activities between the Innovation Park, the Civil airport and the Military airport. Currently, research flight activities from the Military Airport Duebendorf are possible only if allowed by the Swiss Air Force.

Duebendorf Airport is the central starting point for research and R&D-based flight activities in the innovation fields of the UZH Space Hub, e.g. for regular parabolic flights (Airbus A310 ZERO-G) with scientific and industrial partners or research flights with the Zeppelin NT or research aircrafts (Airbus A320 DLR-ATRA, Beech King Air, Cessna Caravan). The airport will also have a stimulating effect on the settlement of national and international companies.
