Peter Guggenbach is Chief Growth Officer of SWISSto12. SWISSto12 builds 3D printed High Frequency Products and Telecommunication-Satellites. Previously he was CEO of RUAG Space and is now member of the Space Force of the Army. He studied at ETH, has an EMBA from IMD and is former Swiss air force pilot.

Talk Abstract :

Topic of the talk is "New Space in Switzerland, an ingenious platform".  Initiated by Elon Musk, the traditional space industry has been given a completely new impetus and is now an ingenious platform for anyone who wants to take their innovations into space. A look back at the last 15 years will show how we have been successful in Switzerland and what has changed, but also what has not lived up to expectations. From what we have learned, some "space rules" to be successful can be derived, and it will be shown that these principles are more common than one might expect.
